Ordained a Catholic priest in 1969, and was assigned cardinal in 2000. He chose Francis as his Papal name in honor of Saint Francis of Assisi. Francis was elected Pope on March 2013

He was ordained as a priest in 1967 and was officially elected Pattriach of Antioch in 2011. He is the fourth Maronite Patriarch created cardinal on November 2012 by Pope Benedict XVI

BECHARA AL-RAHI
Bishop Abdallah Elias Zaidan was ordained as a priest in 1986. He was officially elected Bishop of Our Lady of Lebanon of Los Angeles on September 2013
