Ordained a Catholic priest in 1982, and was assigned cardinal in 2023. Born in Chicago, United States, he joined the Order of Saint Augustine as a young man. He served his missionary work in Peru.He chose Leo as his Papal name and was elected Pope on May 8, 2025

He was ordained as a priest in 1967 and was officially elected Pattriach of Antioch in 2011. He is the fourth Maronite Patriarch created cardinal on November 2012 by Pope Benedict XVI

BECHARA AL-RAHI

Bishop Abdallah Elias Zaidan was ordained as a priest in 1986. He was officially elected Bishop of Our Lady of Lebanon of Los Angeles on September 2013
